Forestside Food Festival

 Keep your diary free in November as we prepare to launch the first ever ten day Forestside Food Festival. Hosted by Chef Stephen Jeffers the festival will be a celebration of food from Forestside and beyond with daily demos from our purpose built demo kitchen on mall and an assortment of tasting and sampling from local producers showcasing the very best in Northern Irish produce.

The festival will run from Friday 6th - Sunday 15th November with 2 - 3 cookery demos every day from Chef Jeffers or his guest chefs from all over the province. Andy Rea (Mourne Seafood Bar); Jonny Phillips (Coppi, Il Pirata); Stephen Chisholm ( Radio Ulster/Belfast Cookery School/Great Irish Bake Off Winner) to name but a few, will demo on allocated days with a different theme every day. We will celebrate the best of our own food retailers and beyond with fantastic tasters and visitors such as Shortcross gin, Leggygowan Cheese, Abernethy Butter...the list goes on. 

We will release the timetable for every day as soon as we can confirm details and you might start to see a certain Chef appearing on buses and billboards around the city. So watch this space and keep 6-15th November free. It's going to be a lot of fun, and we might learn a few tips from the professionals. Can't wait!
