Aoife Mallon

Artist Bio


Aoife is a Belfast based 19-year-old singer/songwriter who has been writing music since the age of 12.  She came runner up in the 2016 Dawson's Belfast Singer Songwriter competition, has appeared on BBC radio Ulster, performed at the Belfast Nashville singer/songwriter festival, and been a semi-finalist of the U20 Forestside Singer/ Songwriter Competition 2017.

Aoife recently released her debut EP 'Hard to Breathe' containing four original songs, one of which was produced by Sam Wickens. Soothing melodies and thoughtful lyrics compliment Aoife's beautiful voice and she performs her music with deep emotion and passion.Inspired by great artists such as Van Morrison, Carole King and Damien Rice, Aoife has created a style her own.

As a university student, Aoife fulfils her love of writing music while studying in Dublin and has been writing consistently for the past 6 years.Only starting out in her music career, Aoife is eager to pursue her love of writing, playing and recording music in the future.
